| I.P Abstract & Summary |
The invention relates to a bicycle propulsion mechanism capable of transmitting force to the bicycle wheel by utilizing the gripping force of both hands. This propulsion mechanism utilizes gripping force, thus overcoming the problem of existing bicycle designs, which are prone to imbalance while riding because existing designs require the use of the arms. The propulsion mechanism can be used in conjunction with pedal control when greater force is required while the user pedals normally, thus improving pedaling efficiency. Furthermore, the propulsion mechanism is created by combining a simple component consisting of a rope and a free wheel, and thus the bicycle can maintain its original structure, and does not cause any disadvantage or difference when the user pedals by using the pedals in the conventional way. |
