| I.P Abstract & Summary | The present invention provides a shock attenuation device mounted as a module on a frame of a vehicle, the device comprising: a speed sensor for detecting the driving speed of a vehicle; a distance detection sensor for measuring the distance between the vehicle and an object in front of or behind the vehicle; a shock detection determination unit for determining, on the basis of the driving speed of the vehicle and information on the distance from the object, whether it is possible for the vehicle and the object to collide; a buffer cylinder; a piston which is provided to be movable inside the buffer cylinder and has a shock-absorbing bumper connected to the front thereof; and a gas generation device provided inside the buffer cylinder to be adjacent to a head of the piston at the rear of the buffer cylinder. |
