The present invention relates to a power generation apparatus, and to a power generation apparatus for producing electric power by dropping collected water. A power generation apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a chamber which has an accommodation space for accommodating water, and which accommodates water suctioned through a suction pipe of the bottom surface thereof; a pressure pump for generating pressure so as to discharge, to the outside of the chamber, the air of the accommodation space through a discharge pipe provided on the top surface of the chamber; a spraying part which is provided on the side surface of the chamber, and which sprays, to the outside of the chamber, the water suctioned by means of the pressure pump and accommodated in the accommodation space; and a power generation part for producing the electric power with the pressure of the water sprayed by means of the spraying part. |
