A handheld sanding device according to the present invention has: a power generating unit which generates torque for a sanding process; a power transmitting unit which is coupled to the power generating unit and transmits torque generated in the power generating unit; a sanding unit for sanding a sanding surface, the sanding unit being rotated by the torque transmitted to the power transmitting unit; and a shaft connection unit which connects the power transmitting unit and the sanding unit so that the sanding unit tilts freely with respect to the power transmitting unit. Thus, the handheld sanding device, while being easily portable, enhances the adhesion between the sanding surface and the sanding unit, and can prevent eccentric abrasion of the sanding surface during the sanding process. |
